SYNDROMES

• ACUTE RADIATION SYNDROME: Radiation
exposure.
o 12 hours post-exposure: Vomiting
o 24 hours post-exposure: Prostration (extreme
exhaustion), fever, diarrhea
o Later: Petechial hemorrhage, hypotension,
tachycardia, profuse bloody diarrhea, maybe
death.
